Clinton Hospital orthopedic surgeons provide assessments as well as a variety of treatments for hand and upper extremity injuries. Common injuries treated include:
- Bone and joint injuries
- Carpal tunnel syndrome and compression neuropathies
- Nerve and tendon injuries
Diagnostic imaging services are offered on-site in the hospital's modern Diagnostic Imaging Department, which provides radiology, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT) scanning and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Rehabilitation services are also provided to assist patients in regaining maximum function.
Patients who may require advanced hand and upper extremity services not offered at Clinton Hospital may be referred by their physician to the Hand and Upper Extremity Center at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
