The Marlborough Hospital Endoscopy Center at Southborough, located at 28 Newton Street, Southborough, is designed to offer patients a safe and comfortable experience when examination of the digestive tract is needed. The facility is very patient centered with easy scheduling and patient privacy a priority. The center also features comfortable reception and waiting areas, free parking and a convenient patient drop-off area.
In addition to the center’s focus on safety, quality and consistency of care, the site—and the hospital--can boast the recent acquisition of over $750,000 in new, state-of-the-art equipment. All of these features have been implemented with the overall patient experience in mind. The center has three procedure rooms for performing upper endoscopies and colonoscopy exams. The team also diagnoses and treats many types of digestive disorders, including abdominal pain, acid reflux, colitis, Crohn’s disease, hiatal hernias, intestinal polyps, rectal bleeding, and ulcers. In addition, the team is highly experienced and skilled in the detection and treatment of colon cancer and will soon be working hand-in-hand with the oncologists and staff of the new Cancer Pavilion at Marlborough Hospital scheduled to open in 2013.
